Game, set and match at the Erste Bank Open
As the official technology partner of the Erste Bank Open in Vienna, we were once again able to accompany one of the sporting highlights this year. The tournament butler has been in use for 4 years now and has contributed to the overall success of the event from day one. This year we were once again able to receive more than 1,300 enquiries and thus created a better service for tennis fans around the tournament as such.
In addition to the technology, the focus was also on fun and togetherness. This year we were able to invite friends, colleagues and customers to our VIP area and spend a few pleasant hours there (thanks to 2G regulation). It was good to feel a bit of "old" normality again (with almost 60,000 visitors during the tournament week), after all the months of social distancing.
Finally, we would like to thank the emotion group (Herwig Straka and team). Thank you for the partnership over several years, the trust in us as a partner and the opportunity to experience the event up close every year.
And really at the very end, congratulations to Alexander Zverev, who won against the crowd favourite and US qualifier Frances Tiafoe, in the final.
